Test Drive Pro (“TDP”, “we”) provides dealership software for tracking test drives, verifying customer identity, capturing digital agreements, and reporting salesperson performance. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to dealerships and drivers.
Information we collect
When a dealership uses Test Drive Pro, we collect information necessary to operate the service: the dealership’s business details, user account data for employees (name, email, role), test drive records (vehicle, driver, timestamps, salesperson, outcome), and the output of ID verification through our integration partners (Microblink BlinkID on-device capture and IDScan DIVE Online verification). Digital agreements include signatures, TCPA consent where captured, and the legible copy of the driver’s identification at the moment of drive.
How we use information
Information is used to operate the service on behalf of the dealership, surface live lot visibility, verify identity, retain signed agreements for the dealership’s compliance needs, push lead and deal-jacket data to the dealership’s connected systems (CDK, Tekion, DealerSocket, DriveCentric, RouteOne, and similar), compute commissions and performance metrics, and render public salesperson profiles at the salesperson’s election.
Sharing
Dealership customer data is shared only with that dealership, the integration partners configured by that dealership, and subprocessors we use to operate the platform (hosting, database, email). We do not sell personal information. We comply with lawful requests and cooperate with dealership-directed disclosures.
Retention
Test drive records, signed agreements, and ID verification results are retained for the dealership’s configured period, at minimum the retention required by applicable law (including FTC Red Flags Rule, FTC CARS Rule, and state dealer record requirements). Dealerships may export records at any time and may request deletion subject to legal retention obligations.
Your rights
Drivers may contact the dealership where they test drove a vehicle to exercise rights available under applicable law, including access, correction, and deletion. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state-specific rights are honored through the dealership controller. Contact support@testdrivepro.co for assistance.
Security
Test Drive Pro uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, audit logging, and least-privilege access for operations staff. ID capture occurs in-browser; raw ID images are not stored beyond what the dealership explicitly retains for its deal jacket.
Changes
We will post updates to this policy here and, for material changes, notify dealerships in-app or by email.
